The ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts heads to Georgia for Race two of the 2009 Season. The ASALMS South Teams will get to experience the thrill of South Georgia Motorsports Park’s 1/2 Mile Progressively Banked Paved Oval. Joining us for the event will be the Southern Pro Late Models.
This will be a first time venture for the ASA Late Model Series South and the Southern Pro Late Models in a united event that will showcase the versatility and the tenacity of the southern stock teams. One event, two series combined along with a handful of ASALMS Northern teams that want to throw their hat into this bull ring.
The ASA Late Model Series has visited the SGMP every season since 2006 and have given the Georgia fans a great show each time. On July 3rd, 2006, Landon Cassill won the event, 2008 Season Champion, Jeff Choquette won the September 14th event in 2007 and our 2008 Season Champion Jimmy Lang won the September 13th 2008 event this past year.
The Georgia fans will get to experience a real showdown of talent at SGMP on March 28th at a price they can afford. Tickets are only $10 for adults and $5 for kids (6-11), five and under get in for free. This is a great night of family fun with lots of action and ‘meet and greet’ with the teams during the on-track autograph session.
Front gates open at 5pm starting with Qualifying, Autograph session and pre-race ceremonies, racing begins at 7pm. To get advance tickets, call the ASA Late Model Series Office at 800-385-2503, tickets will also be available at the track the night of the event.
